The Maple Leafs are admittedly stuck in the bottom of the league standings, but their form is fantastic and they are chasing the Florida Panthers and the other teams above them. The Maple Leafs will fight for their pride tonight at 7:00 PM. You can watch the game as usual NHL live stream on gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com
The Maple Leafs are coming to the game tonight with three straight wins and sex wins in ther last seven games. The only loss came against the New York Islanders last Sunday, but they came back and won impressing against the Montreal Canadiens, the New Jersey Devils and the Ottawa Senators. They have also been looking sharp on home ice and their young team has finally found the way to play with each other. Unfortunately too late, but the Maple Leafs have something to continue building on. The goalie success Jean-Sebastian Giguere is starting tonight and he should be able to keep the Panther forwards off the score sheet.
The Panthers are very interesting, because they are going hard in every shift. The season has not been that good for them, with a lot of losses and playoff is distant for the team but the players are going to come out hard and make everything they can to grab some points. They are resting Vokoun, so Clemmensen is starting tonight. The Panthers form is not as good as the Maple Leafs, but the history is for the Panthers advantage.
It will be a tough game, without doubt. They will both go hard despite they are not going to the playoffs. The guys are playing for their jobs and their pride, so a hard game is to expect. I believe the Maple Leafs are going to win, in a game with few goals. 3-1 to the home team. NHL live stream is available on espn360.com and gamecenter.nhl.com.
