Rival game between two teams from the Atlantic Division. A lot of people think it will be an easy walk for the Devils, but the Flyers have quality and can chock. NHL live stream from the game is available on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com.

The Philadelphia Flyers won a very important game against the New York Rangers in the last game of the regular season, and they went to a shootout before the Flyers could clinch their playoff spot. Henrik Lundqvist had a great game and held his Rangers in the game, but justice was administered and Flyers went home as winners. The Flyers played really, really good in that game but they were lacking in the quality of the shots that were fired on Lundqvist. If they can get in a couple on Brodeur, it will be a tough series for the Devils. The Flyers have a lot of speed and power in their game, with a lot of interesting players. I like the stubborn player Carcillo and Jeff Carter, who both will make it hard for their opponents. When these two teams played each other during the season did the Flyers win five out of six games that were played. The standings didn’t show the same. The Flyers ended up on seventh place in the Eastern Conference, while the New Jersey Devils won the Atlantic Division and were seeded second prior to the playoffs.

The Devils are of course not bad, but I don’t think they have the quality throughout the roster. They are not that experienced, but the addition of Ilya Kovalchuk did an impact from the very beginning. He has been able to produce in game after game, and he is a feared offensive weapon. The Devils also have a much better goalie in Martin Brodeur, who is light years ahead of Boucher who is in net for the Flyers. And you have to remember that the Devils won all six games against the Pittsburgh Penguins this season. Two very interesting teams are battling in this series. It will be close. Very close…

The Devils will win the first game on home ice though, with 2-1 after overtime. Both teams will work hard for this, but Devils are going to win and Parise will put in the game winning goal. Watch it on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com NHL live stream.

The Sharks tend to let up in the playoffs, but they look actually really sharp in the roster this year and their opponents Colorado Avalanche are on a bad streak. The Sharks are huge favourites. The game starts at 10:00 PM and you can watch it online NHL live stream on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com.

There seem to be a curse over the Sharks, who year after year lose early in the playoffs despite great regular seasons and strong rosters. There are now a lot of people who believe in the team from the sunny beaches and with players like Thornton, Heatley and Marleau should they just be able to go far. Players with experience and quality to put up a lot of points. Experience from really big games do they actually lack, and they are known for their ability to disappear from important games like these.

The Colorado started out great in the beginning of the season, but just as many people thought did they decrease in the standings after Christmas. The roster wasn’t good enough to keep up with the top teams in the Western Conference and they finished on the eighth place. It is a great result for a team who was brutal last year and this year has probably satisfied many fans in Colorado. But I don’t think the players are happy yet. I would guess the younger players are doubting. They are coming out with a young team in strong headwind, and they are playing a skilled and experienced top team. This can just end in one way: Sharks will win this.

Craig Anderson is the player who can keep the Avalanche in this series, and if he brings his top game like many times before can the games be closer than expected. I think the first game between the Sharks and the Avalanche will be close without any risk takers. The Sharks will own the game though, and spend the most time in offensive end. The score will be 3-1 to Sharks and you can watch it on gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com who show NHL live stream.

Jaroslav Halak is going to try to stop the leagues sharpest team with Ovechkin and Backstrom in the front. You can watch the battle on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com NHL live stream.

The Capitals have been great this year, just as expected, and won the President Trophy with most points in the NHL after the regular season. The Capitals also scored 318 goals, which is more than hundred more goals than Canadiens did. On the other hand did the Capitals let in a lot of goals, mostly because of their goalie issues. Varlamov and Theodore weren’t that good during the season, and they have to step it up in the playoffs. But the Capitals have instead relied on their offense, and on the production of Ovechkin, Backstrom and Semin.

Jaroslav Halak took over the crease from Carey Price in the Montreal Canadiens, and it is now up to the Slovakian goalie to stop the offensive powers of the Washington Capitals. It has went well before, and the Canadiens actually won two out of four games against the Capitals this season, but the Capitals did nevertheless score 15 goals in those four games. In this series can we expect a lot of goals, since the Capitals very rarely score less than three goals and they leave a lot of space for counter attacks when they are thinking offensively.

As I said do I believe in a lot of goals, and I think the Capitals will go out and score a couple of fast goals in the first game. My guess is 5-3 to the Capitals and the entertaining game starts at 7:00 PM and is shown on gamecenter.nhl.com and espn360.com NHL live stream.

Two rivals in the Northeast Divison clash in the first stage of the playoffs. They have played each other six times this season, and we can now look forward to a couple of more in a high tempo. You can watch NHL live stream on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com.

The Boston Bruins is the team who will come in to the series with a small advantage if you look at the previous games between these two teams. The Bruins have won four out of six games but the Sabres have been the best team overall and ended up on a third place in the Eastern Conference, thanks to the win in the Northeast Division.

Ryan Miller in the Sabres net may be the difference between the teams. Miller has been fantastic and he is one of the best goalies in the NHL for sure. The Bruins don’t have the same quality. Tim Thomas was the last season’s best goalie, but he has been brutal this year, and the backup Tuukka Rask has taken over Thomas’ spot prior to the playoffs. But Rask can tremble in a lot of games and he is not a goalie who wins the big important games on his own. But he will help his team to stay in the games, and the Sabres are not a team that spit in goals like the Washington Capitals for example. We can count on close games with just a few goals.

The Bruins have actually had an easy time for the Sabres even in playoffs. They have won five out of six playoff series between the teams. The history won’t decide the outcome; it is up to the players to take care of this. The Sabres are a little bit better on the paper but the Bruins are full of self confidence since the battle for a playoff spot. It will be very close so I just decide to go for the bet on a few goals. You can see the game on gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com NHL live stream.

With only 5 rounds left to play in La Liga, the excitement is breathtaking. Barcelona is at the moment number one but with only one point more than rival team Real Madrid. Bet365 sends free live stream this weekend as La Liga is nearing the end of the season.

Number one team Barcelona recently got home again after playing Inter away in the Champions League and loosing a tough game, having more games than Real Madrid can be costly in the end of the season. Playing Xerez home should be an easy three points, Xerez are dead last and far away from surviving this season, but the team have played really well in the last rounds, beating tough Atletico Madrid away and getting a draw against Santander at home. But Barcelona is in a whole other league at the moment and they have to win every game to keep Real Madrid behind them for the rest of the season.

The game will be played today 18.00 and Bet365 streams this game for free, just log on to your account and the game will be available.

The Boston Bruins have the commando in this series after two victories at home. The Flyers are basically forced to win this to keep it close, and it is a team that works hard for points. You can watch the game NHL live stream at 7:00 PM tonight on gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com. Bet on the game at Bet365 or Bet-at-home and get great betting bonuses!

It has been two really close games already betwwen the Boston Bruins and the Philadelphia Flyers in the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. The Bruins won at home with 5-4 in OT and 3-2 in the latest game. Milan Lucic scored the game winning goal with only three minutes left in the third period. That is how the games have been so far. It is close, but it all comes down to a situation in the end.

Boucher and Rask are the goalies who are expected to play in the net in this game and I consider Tuukka Rask as a better goalie. Boucher may play really good from time to time, and he made a lot of great saves against the New Jersey Devils in the first round. But he has not looked as good in the first two games in the second round.

Marco Sturm got injured in the first game and he will be gone for the rest of the season. He does not put up a lot of points but he is a hard working forward who is a good penalty killer, so it is definitely a loss for the Bruins. Instead they’ve got Marc Savard back from his injury, but he has looked kind of rusty lately, so I suppose he needs a couple of games to come back to his normal standard.

I believe the players in the Philadelphia Flyers can feel the heat at the moment, and they should have a good chance to win this game now when they are at home. The roster is full of hard working players and they will not give up in the first place. They are going to fight hard until the horn blows, to win this battle. I expect a close game anyway, just as the other two games earlier in this round, but the Flyers will go to bed as winners tonight. 4-3 to the Flyers is my bet and the game starts at 7:00 PM tonight. You can watch NHL live stream online on gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com.

The Canadiens won the series against the surprised team Washington Capitals in the first round, thanks to hard work and the fantastic goalie Jaroslav Halak. It is now tied at one in the series with the favorites Pittsburgh Penguins, but the Canadiens have two games at home in a row. You can see them NHL live stream online on gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com. Find great odds att Bet365 and Bet-at-home.

The Canadiens are not a team that conduct games and create a lot of scoring chances, but they have been very effective in the playoff this far. They are shooting around 20 shots per game, but they still manage to win the games with one or a few goals margin. The goalie Jaroslav Halak is of course one of the reasons to that. Halak has been phenomenal and he stopped the Washington Capitals with all their big stars. But don’t forget about the skaters in the Canadiens. They help Halak in every game, and work hard in their own end, so you can’t just look at the Canadiens as a team that lives on its goalie.

But there is always one team that goes surprisingly far, and it is the Canadiens this year. The Anaheim Ducks were close to eliminate the Detroit Red Wings last year, because of the second string goalie Jonas Hiller who robbed the Red Wings forwards all the time. He took a lot of games to overtime and very exciting and close battles.

The Penguins won the first game between the teams, and Halak was pulled after five goals. But Halak came back and played great in game number two, and the series now look totally open. I don’t think the Canadiens can win both the games on home ice, so I think the two teams share the upcoming games, and win one each. The Penguins are of course huge favorites, with players like Crosby, Malkin and Staal, but don’t forget that NHL is an even league and a team on a good streak can surprise more than once. The Canadiens are going to be in this series, as long as they have power to work as hard as they have this far. I think this games will go to the Montreal Canadiens, in front of a fanatic home crowd who will carry their team forward. The Canadiens will work in eight periods if they need it but they won’t give the Penguins anything for free. Count on a battle for every loose puck. The Canadiens win with a small margin. I believe in 3-2, and the game winner might come in overtime. You can see it on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com NHL live stream.

The Sharks have taken commando with 2-0 in the series! Is their curse finally broken? Joe Thornton looked hot in the last game and has he ever put up two points in the same playoff game? The Sharks are going towards a final in the Western Conference. See their way there on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com NHL live stream and bet on the game at Bet365 or Bet-at-home!

The San José Sharks are famous for breaking down in the playoffs, but after a renovation of the roster does it seem to be the right year for the Sharks from the west. They were great in the regular season, and they have won a lot of games in the playoffs too for a change. They have now a lead with 2-0 against the Detroit Red Wings who have a good team and they usually perform well in the big games.  But as I said, the Sharks look good, better than ever actually, and the heavy pressure that has been on players like Thornton and Heatley seem to be gone. They are playing with another kind of self confidence, and they have started putting up points on the scoreboard. If they can continue may they carry the team really far this spring. They have the same offensive power as teams like the Penguins and the Blackhawks, and just like the Penguins, the last years Stanley Cup-winner, do they’ve got a good goalie. That is the difference between the Sharks andother top teams, like the Washington Capitals for example.

The Detroit Red Wings roster is very experienced, but the players are getting older and older. They are dock getting an advantage in these kinds of games when players that can handle pressure are playing. In the first round of the playoffs did the Red Wings have problems with the Phoenix Coyotes, who had a good team this year, but they couldn’t keep up with the Red Wings on the ice and their skilled forwards. It was just the sharp shots that were missing, but then again, the Coyotes had a great goalie in Ilya Bryzgalov. The Sharks goalie Evgeni Nabokov is absolutely at the same level as Bryzgalov, so it can be hard for the Red Wings to score in this game too.

The Detroit Red Wings really have to win this game to keep it close in the series. With some help from the home crowd do I think they will win this. Many of the more experienced players know what it is all about. They are going to come out calm and focused and make the series 2-1. NHL live stream is available on gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com.

Two of the absolute best teams in the Western Conference strike in game number three tonight at 9:30 PM and if you’re not in Canada can you watch it online NHL live stream on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com. Pure entertainment to expect! Bet on the game at bet365 and bet-at-home for the best odds and great betting bonuses!

The Blackhawks got badly beaten in the first game, with the score 5-1 for the Vancouver Canucks. Many people must have thought that game number two would end the same way when the Canucks took an early lead with 2-0 in the first period. But a lot can happen in ice hockey and the Chicago Blackhawks played better and better and tied the series to 1-1 after four goals in a row that made the score 4-2. The Blackhawks have won the shots in both the games and they bombarded Luongo who was in the net for Canucks, but he kept the scoreboard clean. Luongo is a much better goalie than Antti Niemi or Christobal Huet who are available for the Chicago Blackhawks. The goalies have been their weakest part during the entire season and I believe that the goalies might be the reason why they won’t go all the way this year. A winning team must have a great goalie and it has been clear this season that Niemi or Huet are not good enough to take the team to the finals.

These two teams could have played each other in the Western Conference finals, they are that good. I think they have been best in the west together with the San José Sharks during the season. The difference between the three teams is like mentioned that the Chicago Blackhawks don’t have a really good goalie. But they compensate that with a really entertaining and offensive hockey, with young starts like Patrick Kane, Duncan Keith and Jonathan Toews together with more experienced players like Marian Hossa. They have a good mix on the depth chart and the hockey draws a big crowd to every game in Chicago. There is an interest in the city that hasn’t been there in many years.

Vancouver is another hockey town, but the inhabitants there are more loyal than the Chicago people. The Canucks are now coming home to Canada, where ice hockey is a national sport and almost a religion. I think they will win this game with the help of their fans, and I think the margin will be two or three goals. The Canucks are strong at home and despite the Blackhawks victory won’t gained morale help them enough to beat the Canucks in Vancouver. They have an opportunity to take one game from the Canucks but I don’t think they will take it tonight. This is going to be a Canadian win. You can watch NHL live stream tonight at 9:30 PM on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com.

Friday May 07, 2010

The Penguins won the third game with 2-0 in a relative bad game which contained a lot of problems for both the teams. They’ve got the lead with 2-1 in the series now and it is a big advantage for the Penguins. Important game for the Canadiens that can’t afford to lose two straight games at home. The fourth game begins tonight at 7:00 PM and it is shown online on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com NHL live stream. Find great odds and great bonuses at bet365 and bet-at-home!

Penguins succeeded to get a win despite obvious difficulties in the beginning of the game. They were only able to fire three shots in the first period, and the loss of the key players Jordan Staal and Bill Guerin was clear. But it is important that the stars step up in moments like that, to get a game winning goal for example. That is exactly what Evgeni Malkin did. He scored the first goal of the game in the beginning of the third period in power play. Jaroslav Halak had to capitulate, after a lot of saves. Halak has been great this playoff, and he has been a great player for the Canadiens who are not that fantastic on the attack.

The Penguins star players stepped up when they needed it most, and players like Crosby, Gonchar and Malkin were all behind the first goal and the goalie Marc-André Fleury was taking care of their own net. He was looking calm and good throughout the entire game and he made some real game winning saves in the third period. The Canadies didn’t shoot a lot of shots, as always, but every time they released the shot it got dangerous. But Fleury could get his first shutout of the playoffs.

There were thus small margins in that game and the pressure is now on the Montreal Canadiens who must win tonight if they don’t want to risk to get eliminated directly in Pittsburgh when they return there. Despite the loss Tuesday did they play well and they were not far from a victory. They know what it takes and they will go out on the ice willing to fight and win this game. It can end in any case though, but if the Canadiens got any luck in the game and keep the Penguins from scoring in the beginning do I believe that the Canadiens have a good chance to come out from this game with a win. I think there will be a few goals, but the Canadiens will win. 2-1 to them is my bet. The game starts at 7:00 PM and you can watch it NHL live stream on gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com.

Start: 05/07/2010 03:30

The Sharks won in OT and it doesn’t look good for the Detroit Red Wings. Are they out of power or is there still hope for the experienced players from Michigan? It can be concluded tonight at 9:30 PM and the game is shown NHL live stream on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com. Bet at bet365 and bet-at-home for the best odds and great bonuses!

I believed the Red Wings would come out and win the third game, on home ice, but it seems like the team lacks energy. The Sharks have been really good for sure, and despite close games have they deserved the wins. The situation the Red Wings are in right now doesn’t look good at all and they can’t lose a single game if they want to keep playing in the playoffs. I think they are feeling a bit low after the loss in such a close game like the last one and now when they are down with 3-0. They are super pros but I suppose some of them are thinking about the golf season already. But no one will admit it…

Something that is very positive for the San José Sharks is that this might be the first playoff that their star players really have performed. Thornton and Marleau are doing very well and they are finding each other on the ice, without their habit to disappear in some games. If they can continue like this are there no limits for the Sharks. They can go all the way.

I know that the Red Wings won’t disappoint their fans, so that is their motivation for the game tonight. They don’t want to lose the last game at home, and get eliminated from the playoffs with 4-0 in the series. They will do everything to save their pride, even if they lose in the next game. But I believe in the Red Wings in the game tonight. Watch it on gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com tonight at 9:30 PM NHL live stream.
