The worst team in the NHL this season, Edmonton Oilers, is hosting a game with the Colorado Avalanche tonight. You can watch it on gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com that show NHL live stream.

The Colorado Avalanche has started to drop in the Western Conference after a good beginning of the season, and they are on eighth place in the standings at the moment. The Calgary Flames are just below them, and they risk missing the playoffs, despite a lot of people have seen them as contenders during almost the entire season. Craig Anderson has been one reason to their good start, but a great goalie can’t carry his team all the way if they don’t have quality on every position. It is now time for all the players to step up so the team can reach the playoffs.

The Edmonton Oilers are totally worthless and shouldn’t have a chance in this game. The Colorado Avalanche has more to play for and their desperation should weigh more than the Oilers. The Oilers season is basically already over, so they won’t come in with great motivation or will to win. I believe in the Avalanche in this game, and it is possible that it will be with a couple of goals difference. You can watch it on gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com that show NHL live stream.

The Blackhawks do only have eleven losses at home and the St. Louis Blues are now visiting them. You can watch the game on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com NHL live stream.

The Blackhawks continue to play well, right before the Stanley Cup, and many people believe in them this year after their fantastic season. The only thing that speaks against them is their goalies, since both Christobal Huet and Antti Niemi have been very inconsistent and that is very important for a Stanley Cup winning team. But the team has a fantastic offense, with players lika Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane and Marian Hossa, and those players can go in and put up a few when they have to.

The Blackhawks use to be good against the Blues and there will probably be a review of recent games tonight. The Blues have an interesting team, with a couple of players to keep an eye on. Examples are Paul Kariya, Andy McDonald, David Backes, Oshie and Perron. But it’s not enough to make it to the playoffs and the St. Louis Blues have to focus on the next season and look forward. There are no doubt they have potential in the franchise though.

The Blackhawks are going to win this, because of one simple reason: They are much better. You can watch the game online if you want, on NHL live stream gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com

The Blue Jackets and the Red Wings battle in the Central Division at 7:30 PM. You can watch the game on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com who both have NHL live stream.

The Red Wings have won three of the four recent games during the season and the 9-1-victory in the beginning of the season is the most impressive one. It has been closer after that, with a couple of one-goal-games. The Red Wings are now almost free from injuries and Johan Franzén really helped them to turn the ship around after he got rid of his injury.

The Red Wings just clinched their playoff spot and are satisfied with that for sure, but it will take a couple of more points to get a good draw in the playoffs. I suppose they would like to avoid teams like the Chicago Blackhawks, but then they have to play well and stay on sixth place. The Los Angeles Kings are right behind them and are dangerously close to pass them.

The Blue Jackets have been brutal this season and they are second last in the Western Conference, way ahead of the Edmonton oilers who have been by far the worst team in the NHL this season. The Blue Jackets are bad on the road and the Red Wings are good in Michigan, so I believe in a home victory with one or two goals. NHL live stream on gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com.

The New York Rangers have to take points in each game from now on to get the last playoff berth. Watch them try to extend the season on gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com NHL live stream.

The Rangers have been looking good, and the pressure to perform seems to motivate Henrik Lundqvist and his men. Four teams in the middle of the Eastern Conference are fighting for two playoff spots, which belong to the Philadelphia Flyers and the Boston Bruins. But the New York Rangers and the Atlanta Thrashers are right behind them and will do everything they can to advance in the standings.

The New York Rangers have won impressing against the New York Islanders, the Florida Panthers and the Tampa Bay Lightning recently and the offensive seems much better than before and Henrik Lundqvist has been really good at the same time. There is hope for playoff and they have a great opportunity against the Toronto Maple Leafs, who they should beat despite their loss in the last game they played. The Maple Leafs are last in the Eastern Conference and they don’t have anything to play for. Actually, a last place in the standings will give them a better draw prior to the draft this summer. Motivation will win the game and the Rangers have the most of it. Home victory with a couple of goals difference is to expect and NHL live stream can be viewed on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com.
