Sharks and Maple Leafs meet for the only time this season at 7:00 PM. The game can be watched on gamecenter.nhl.com and espn360.com that show NHL live stream.

The new recruit of the Maple Leafs Jean-Sebastian Giguere has begun his career in Canada with two shutouts, against the New Jersey Devils and the Ottawa Senators. The trades that took Giguere, Sjostrom and Phaneuf to the Maple Leafs seem to have boosted the team, because they are undeniably better than before and seem to be able to match every team in this league.

The Sharks continue to play convincing and are still in the top of the Western Conference, much thanks to Joe Thornton, Dany Heatley and Patrick Marleau who all can put up points on the board. Only the Washington Capitals are better offensively than the Sharks, so Giguere will probably get a tough night in net for the Maple Leafs. The Sharks have already played two games on the road and they are now going to play Toronto, followed up with games against the Blue Jackets, the Red Wings and the Sabres before they can go home to California.

Maple Leafs seem hot right now and are stronger with their new recruits. The self confidence and the atmosphere have likely got a boost and they know they can beat any team in the league. They are also playing on home ice, and that will affect too. I believe the Maple Leafs are going to win this game, which will be a surprise for many. Fewer than 5.5 goals is also a good bet. You can watch the game online on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com NHL live stream.
