The first Fight Night of 2010 is set for January the 11th in Fairfax, the main card is looking very interesting with fights like undefeated lightweight challanger Gray Maynard who takes on one of the Diaz brothers, and a fight between the Ultimate Fighter winner Efrain who will face undefeated Evan Dunham.

Nate Diaz (11-4) vs. Gray Maynard (8-0)

UFC Live stream fighter facts:

Diaz made his break trough when he won season 5 of The Ultimate Fighter, after that he as established him self as one of the best in the lightweight division, but has still to make that last step to being a contender. Every time he has gone up against another lightweight contender he has lost on decision and this will be his third shoot at fighting for the chance of getting a title fight. What makes Diaz interesting is the fact that in his last five fights he has been rewarded fight of the night three times and submission of the night two times.

Maynard is still undefeated in his professional career, and since he signed with UFC has won a couple of difficult fights against good fighters like Roger Huerta, Jim Miller and Frank Edgar. When it comes to Edgar, Maynard is the only one who has defeated him.

UFC Live Stream Fight Analyze:

This will be the second fight between Diaz and Maynard, the first time these two met was during season 5 of the Ultimate Fighter, that time Diaz won on a beautiful guillotine choke. After this fight both guys has impressed and shown a nice evolution, Diaz has more then one time been close to a title fight but just barely missed out on the opportunity, Maynard has slowly but safely taken care of all opposition on the road to this chance, the talk is that Maynard can get an opportunity against BJ Penn if he wins over Diaz.

Maynard has evolved enormously since the first time these two met, speciously his stand-up is improved he has always been a great wrestler, good wrestling is a must against a ground specialist like Diaz. Maynard has to keep the fight standing and he will probably be successful with that.

There is no free UFC live stream from UFC Fight Night but a stream can be bought from UFClive.com, for people who like to bet on UFC Bet365 offers 3.50 on Diaz while Expekt offers 1.28 on Maynard.

The Calgary Flames are looking to beat the Predators and take over the Northwest Division lead. They are currently only one point behind the Colorado Avalanche, and a victory tonight would get them to be placed third in Western Conference. The game starts tonight at 9.00 PM in Pengrowth Saddledome, and you can watch the game online at gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com NHL live stream.

Nashville Predators have had a good season so far, and they have surprised a lot of people. They are especially good on the road, coming to the game with 4-1 in their last five games, but they have always had some big trouble against the Calgary Flames.

The Flames still have a good chance to reach the absolute top of Western Conference, but they haven’t been that good lately. Iginla haven’t scored in five games, and they have lost six of their last nine games at home. Their biggest problem is to convert on their scoring chances and put the puck in the net. The Flames were having a hard time scoring on the Colorado Avalanche when they were outshooting them whit 46-21, ending up losing in a shootout because of Craig Andersons brilliant play.

Pekka Rinne and Miikka Kiprusoff are probably the starting goalies for tonight, and that is an advantage for the Flames. Kiprusoff is a better goalie and Pekka Rinne has only been decent on a winning team. He has also been struggling against the Calgary Flames throughout his career, going 0-2-0 with a 4.83 goals-against average in his three starts. Calgary Flames are going into the game as favorites, but I think it’s going to be a close game with a lot of hard work. That is what it takes to win these games, and I think the Flames offense will lose it up and get some scoring going. Moneyline on Flames is a good bet, or play safe with Flames and a X. Washington Capitals are returning home after a three game road trip and they are hosting the game against the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight at 7:00 PM in Verizon Center. Gamecenter.nhl.com and espn360.com have NHL live stream online, so you can watch the game.

The Capitals won two out of three during their four day road trip. The victories came against the Atlanta Thrashers and the Florida Panthers, whilst they lost against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The three games were all very entertaining, including lots of goals. The Capitals scored a total of 17 goals in those three games, but they also let in twelve, much because of the Capitals struggling goalies. José Theodore and Michael Neuwirth have been playing many games because of the injury on Simeon Varlamov, and the goalie spot has been weak this year, allowing tons of cheap goals.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are still in the lower bottom of the Eastern Conference, but they are coming from a win against the Philadelphia Flyers. Vesa Toskala shut out the Flyers, and won the game with 4-0, saving 38 shots. The game was played yesterday, so the Maple Leafs are going back to back, and have to step it up and hope to have some energy left after the game last night. Toskala is probably not starting, so Jonas Gustavsson is most likely going to stand between the pipes against the Capitals tonight.

This matchup promises a great game with a lot of goals. The Capitals are the best team at home in the NHL, and the Maple Leafs let in 3.9 goals overall on the road. Over 5.5 goals in this game will give you 1.55 times your bet at Expekt, but I would bet on Capitals instead. They are huge favorites in this game, and I think they will take a comfortable victory. Capitals to 1.68 at Betsson, and you can watch the game NHL live stream at espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com.

Blackhawks and the Blue Jackets played each other in Chicago two days ago. It is now time for a rematch, and the game starts at 2:00 PM in Nationwide Arena. The game can be viewed on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com NHL live stream.

The Blackhawks won with convincing 3-0 on Thursday and the Blue Jackets could not keep ut with them. The Blackhawks could relax and play their game and the Blue Jackets were never close to get any points in that game.

Garon was playing in the net for the Blue Jackets in the last game, but it is now confirmed that Mason start in this game. None of them has played very well during the season, so it is hard to decide if it is good or bad. Christobal Huet is the starter for the Blackhawks and it is the same with him. You never know how good he is going to be because his level of play varies from game to game.

I believe in a much closer game than the last one. The Blue Jackets want revenge and they will play better with their fans at home. Furthermore, there is a risk that the Blackhawks are going to take it a little bit too easy in this game. They have a long road trip ahead of them, and they won so easily in the last game. Blue Jackets can surprise. I would bet on the Blue Jackets or a tie in this game. Gamecenter.nhl.com and espn360.com show NHL live stream from the game.

The Dallas Stars have been very bad recently, but they are now returning to Texas after a road trip and they are really good on their own land. The Red Wings are the opponents today at 2:00 PM, and you can watch the NHL live stream on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com.

The Stars are pitiful on the road, and they have only won one game in their last 13 road games. They have been playing a lot on the road lately and after three losses in a row are they now going back to play in their own rink again.

The Red Wings have just got back a couple of players, but there are still some players on the injury list. Kronwall, Williams, Franzén and Holmstrom would all be good additions to the Red Wings right now, but the team seems to have learned how to play well without four of their important players.

Jimmy Howard is starting between the pipes for the Red Wings and the young rookie has become a strong candidate to win the Calder Trophy Award this year. He is much better than Marty Turco at the moment, but the Red Wings offense has been struggling the last couple of games. Under 5.5 goals today? Detroit Red Wings feel a little bit better, but I’m sure the Dallas Stars feel glad and confident now when they are back in American Airlines Center. Stars or X is my bet for the night and you can watch it on gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com NHL live stream.

Both Blackhawks and Red Wings are going back to back. The game starts at 12:30 PM and it is shown on gamecenter.nhl.com and espn360.com NHL live stream.

Chicago Blackhawks continue the road trip they recently started with a trip to Michigan to face the Detroit Red Wings. This will be the fourth game between the teams this season, and Blackhawks have won two of the latest games.

Both the teams played yesterday. Detroit Red Wings lost away against the Dallas Stars in a shootout and Chicago Blackhawks won once again against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Now are they playing each other and Red Wings might have a little advantage playing in their arena where they usually play good. Zetterberg is back from his injury, and he is always a good addition to his team.

Red Wings miss a whole bunch of players anyway and that is the reason why they are placed where they are: just below the eight playoff spots.

Osgood is expected to start for the Red Wings and the Finnish goalie Antti Niemi will probably be in the net for Blackhawks. Both of them can tremble and I think they are equally good. It is hard to predict a winner here. Blackhawks have the better team, but are now playing on the road. If I have to choose a team would it be the Red Wings. I think they will come out hard full of a desire to win after their loss yesterday and after the telling-off of head coach Babcock. They are stronger than the Blackhawks when they are playing in front of their fans, and Blackhawks have a tough game schedule ahead of them. More than 5.5 goals can be interesting if you find high odds. NHL live stream can you watch on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com.

The Philadelphia Flyers have played better recently and are coming to Washington with great self confidence. Is that enough to beat Ovechkin’s Capitals? You can watch the game on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com NHL live stream.

When the teams played each other in the beginning of December did Flyers get humiliated with 8-2. They have just been going upwards since them. They are 8-2-1 in their last 13 games and they have turned around the bad trend they were in. They also had four straight wins before the Toronto Maple Leafs beat them this Thursday.

It usually gets a lot of goals between these two teams and Michael Leighton and Jose Theodore are probably going to play in this game. Two goalies that have a tendency to let in weak goals…

The Toronto Maple Leafs lost with 6-1 against the Washington Capitals the day after they put an end of Flyers winning streak. The Maple Leafs must have been tired after the game the night before.

The Flyers can add Danny Syvret to their injury list after the Tuesday’s game against the Dallas Stars when he separated his shoulder. They are already missing Scott Hartnell, Ryan Parent and Darrol Powe.

It is two good goalscoring teams that are playing each other and I think we’ll see a lot of goals in this game too. The Washington Capitals are better as a team and I think they will win tonight. The Flyers will put up some good resistance, but Capitals at home are just too good. Bet on Moneyline.

NHL live stream can be viewed on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com when the game starts at 3:00 PM.
