Fourth and final game in the regular season between the Blue Jackets and the Oilers. Two teams in the bottom of the Western Conference play each other tonight at 7:00 PM and you can watch the entertainment on espn360.com or gamecenter.nhl.com NHL live stream.

The Edmonton Oilers are helplessly last in the Western Conference with their 49 points, which is nine points less than the next worst team Toronto Maple Leafs who are last in East. We find the Blue Jackets just above the Oilers but it almost feels impossible for the Edmonton Oilers to pass the Blue Jackets with only 10-15 games left of the season. Both the teams will have to start thinking about the next season and what players to draft this summer.

The Blue Jackets have not been good this year and have played quite boring hockey, with Rick Nash as best player and highlight. They have had goalie problems and Mason, who probably will start tonight, has been very inconsistent and kept a way to low level overall. The Oilers have had even bigger troubles and they will miss a lot of players tonight. Hemsky, Khabibulin, Smid, Souray and Jacques are all out for the rest of the season and an addition of four players is injured for an indefinite time. Other than that don’t the Oilers have anything to play for and the focus is probably on the draft draw and the last place in NHL means good chances to get the first pick. I don’t think the Oilers will come out so hard tonight and I believe the players are very insecure with a lack of motivation and self confidence.  The Oilers are one of the worst teams in the league on the road and the Blue Jackets have a big advantage tonight. Huge favorites! You can watch the game NHL live stream on gamecenter.nhl.com or espn360.com.
