The only game of the season between these two teams and it’s easy to say that the Devils are coming to the battle with a lot better self confidence. The Devils have been playing over the expectations and have been in the top of the Eastern Conference throughout the entire season and the Columbus Blue Jackets have been boring and bad, and are placed thereafter.
The Blue Jackets played the Nashville Predators Saturday and lost their fourteenth straight game to them. 0-9-5 is their record against the Preds and it’s a new record in the history of NHL.
Brodeur is starting for the evening, and he is facing the Blue Jackets Swedish forward Kristian Huselius, who has been hot lately. Brodeur is one of the best goalies in the NHL though, so it will be tough for Huselius, Nash and co. to score enough goals to win the game.
